The Tokyo 2020 Olympics has definitely been historical with the debut of new sports like skateboarding, surfing, sport climbing and karate. Softball and Baseball was also in the highlight at the 2020 Olympics since they were last seen in 2008.
As the Tokyo 2020 Olympics conclude, many are looking forward Paris 2024 where many saw the continuous modernization of the program.

The preview of Paris 2024 during Tokyo’s closing ceremony showed a very urban treatment to the Olympics and since breakdancing is a huge part of youth culture in the 2024 host country, it will debut as a new sport in the next olympics.
The modernization is highly influenced by its host country and how successful the new sports were. In Tokyo, skateboarding, surfing, sport climbing and karate’s debut was successful and was sought after by fans all around the world.
