Boys Night Out’s Tony Toni and Slick Rick Share Plans After Going Off-Air

After almost two decades on air, longtime radio show Boys Night Out went off the air last month following a preventive suspension involving what the hosts described as “toxic superiors.” Since then, hosts Tony Toni and Slick Rick have been making appearances at events, including the first Original Filipino Music Awards, where they talked about what’s next for them and their listeners.

Speaking to ABS-CBN’s PUSH in an interview, Tony Toni said they’re preparing for one final gathering to officially say goodbye to their followers.

“We never got to say goodbye to our followers, our listeners, over the 19 years. So we’ll have one last show at Xylo,” Tony shared. “It’s going to be with all our listeners. You can come in, drink, and party with us. It’ll be one last show with the full cast—Sam YG, Gino, Tin, Slick, and myself.”

When asked about what comes next, both Tony and Slick said they are still deciding.

“I think the big question is, what are we going to do next? Are we going back to radio? I haven’t made that decision yet,” Tony said. “We’ve always had a YouTube channel—BNO TV—but we were never really active with it. If we go online, we’ll have to figure out how to stand out since everyone’s doing podcasts and vlogs now.”

Slick added that their future plans might depend on how their upcoming show turns out.

“We’ll see the reaction after. I think that will kind of be the base of if and what we will be doing. We owe it to the listeners because they’re really the ones who made the show, and we appreciate every single one who reached out.”

The last night out

Tony encouraged fans of the program to get their tickets early.

“Our producers have given us the go signal, so we’re ready to rock and roll. Check out our social media platforms for details. You guys are going to have one last show with the full cast,” he said.

Boys Night Out: The Last Night Out is scheduled for January 14, 2026, at 6 PM at XYLO, The Palace, BGC.
