Despite the luxurious accommodations in a central location, what really captured our hearts while staying in Boracay Mandarin is their exemplary, impeccable service. Without fail, their staff is clearly trained to go the extra mile. Everything was quick and efficient, from helping us arrange water activities to personally attending to every request at any time of the day or night.
Excellent service is a must in every luxurious hotel, but what stood out at Boracay Mandarin was their genuine thoughtfulness. Having visited the hotel during our first anniversary, we were surprised to return to the hotel room after a lovely dinner to find rose petals strewn all over our bed, with a warm bath ready and waiting. Truly Boracay Mandarin’s staff exemplifies whole-hearted, world-renowned Filipino service.
WIM Tip: If your flight is hours away after checkout, the hotel has a luggage room wherein leaving guests can leave their luggage safely and return for it when it’s the appropriate time to leave Boracay. Given that our flight was at ten in the evening and checkout was at noon, we were immensely grateful for this feature as it gave us time to continue exploring the Island before we had to leave.
FACILITIES
Most prominent is the hotel’s swimming pool, which we noted to be incredibly well-maintained throughout the duration of our stay. The hotel has a beachfront Italian restaurant called Don Vito Ristorante which serves fine wines, wood fire oven baked pizza and fresh pasta. Breakfast buffet is also served daily here for the hotel guests.
Mandarin Spa offers one of the best Traditional Filipino Hilot massages in the Island, with its rooms overlooking the beach. The hotel also has a Business Center as well as a Gift Shop, open daily.
WIM Tip: If you’re planning a corporate getaway or an official convention, Boracay Mandarin is an excellent pick. Ask to see their function and meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 150 people.
When in Boracay, don’t settle for anything less than paradise. Life is too short to compromise, and as what we learned throughout our visit: it’s the small thoughts that certainly count. Promising luxurious island comfort and delivering more than expected, you’ll surely find paradise with Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel.
