Bob Arum Says He Would Love To See A Pacquiao-McGregor Fight

Could a boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor really happen?

Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum said that he would love to make a fight between People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao and MMA champion Conor McGregor come true.

McGregor recently applied for and received a boxing license in the state of California, making this dream fight more than likely.

Arum has expressed confidence in the boxer-senator, saying that the UFC Lightweight Champion would be an “easy fight” for Pacquiao:

“That’s an easy fight for Manny, and I would love for that fight to happen, absolutely.

For sure, Manny Pacquiao would love to fight Conor McGregor in boxing. Any boxer would like to fight Conor McGregor, because they’d knock him out.”

McGregor, who was keen on squaring off against Floyd Mayweather Jr., said that he would gladly take on Pacquiao if the Mayweather match did not materialize.

But while Arum, Pacquiao, and McGregor are good with the idea, UFC President Dana White may just be the very hindrance to this dream match. As a UFC fighter and champion, McGregor is exclusively signed with the UFC and would need the go-signal from White to fight in a professional boxing match.

Word on the street is that White isn’t too hot with Bob Arum either, but the Top Rank boss says that he’s willing to step aside for White if that means making the Pacquiao-McGregor fight happen.
