One of the things the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has taught us is the importance of health. Aside from proper sleep and exercise, this includes the very food we eat. While desserts may have a bad reputation for being unhealthy and full of calories, that isn’t the case when done right. There are actually many recipes for low-calorie sweets that use natural alternatives all over the Internet that you can try at home.
One example is the Milky Chia Pudding recipe from BLK513. This quick dessert is perfect for those who have ice cream cravings or even those who miss the yogurts of BLK513. Plus, it’s fuss-free and easy to make – even for beginners. Have we mentioned that it only uses three ingredients?

How to Make Milky Chia Pudding
All you need are 2 tablespoons of Chia Seeds, 150 ml of Milk, and 2 teaspoons of Honey. For milk, you can use lactose-free alternatives like almond milk or low-fat options, while you’re free to use any kind of sweetener you want. Depending on your preferred pudding consistency, you can add or lessen your milk. (For firmer pudding, lessen it. For a more fluid consistency, add more.)
The steps are just as simple— pour it all in a jar, give it a good mix until the seeds are soaked in milk, and leave it in the fridge for four hours or overnight. The chia seeds will then gel up, just like sago. Top it off with fruit, granola, or chocolate; and you’re done!

(Tip: if you want flavored pudding, add in some fruit puree or cocoa powder to your milk before mixing it with the chia seeds.) Healthy and yummy. Win-win!
