Let’s check out the products! First, we have two new shades for the BLK Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow: Jasmine, a shimmery peachy nude, and Daisy, a hot pink. The collection also features four new additions to the BLK Soft Matte Mousse Liquid Lip range: Rose, Carnation, Plum Blossom, and Hibiscus — all different shades of wearable reds and pinks.
This K-Drama collection also reintroduces three of the best-selling All Day Lip & Cheek Water Tints. It’s now twice the size and comes in a leak-proof bottle!
There is also the debut of three all-new products that you’ll definitely want to have in your purse every day. There is the BLK Creamy All-Over Paint which is an all-in-one product that you can use for your eyes, cheeks, and even your lips. There is also the BLK Sweet Lip Duo, a skincare product that has a flavored lip scrub and a tinted lip balm in one pocket-sized component. The instant favorite among fans of BLK Cosmetics, however, is the Two-Tone All-Day Intense Matte Lipstick that gives you easy ombre lips in no time!
Even with the latest collection, Anne Curtis still kept the needs and wants of Filipinos in mind by coming up with products that are easy-to-use and wearable. “It’s really based on what BLK is all about — it being uncomplicated and everything being easy to use,” she told When In Manila. “Our ladies or girls, they’re usually on the go. So they like to have products that are easy to use, sulit, and that’s what we’re all about. So that’s why we come up with new products [that are] two-in-one. Everything is user-friendly and I’d like to think that BLK is also updated with how cosmetics is growing and changing.”
Anne also made sure that the colors of the collection also leaned towards the playful side. Her personal favorite is the Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow in Daisy, a vibrant pink that would really paint your eyelids. “I fought for Daisy!” she laughed. “Maybe because it’s more on the playful side I guess. Of course, not everyone is that experimental but I think it would have to be my favorite ’cause it’s fun, it’s definitely K-Beauty, and it’s perfect for this season — for summer, when you can get playful with the colors.”
