With Rosé’s upcoming solo album “rosie” set to be released next month, the BLACKPINK superstar revealed that she received career advice from none other than Taylor Swift.

In an interview with I-D, the K-pop star shared that she met Taylor during an impromptu hangout hosted by Jack Antanoff when she was focusing on her solo activities. From there, the two got the chance to talk.
“I told her I’m such a huge fan and I just had some questions. As soon as she met me, she’s like ‘Spill, let me help you out,’” Rosé recalled, sharing that the Fortnight singer was delighted to offer advice.
She added: “She gave me her experiences and was so ready to help me. She gave me her number and she’s like, ‘Let me know if you have any questions.’ Who does that? Like, you’re Taylor Swift!”
The 27-year-old K-pop star is also a fangirl herself, expressing gratitude for the American singer-songwriter for helping her out at a time when she was “drowning a little.”
Moreover, the 34-year-old multi-award singer gave her solid career advice as the BLACKPINK member is working hard to launch her solo album in the future: “She was telling me – make sure to take care of this, this and this – like, logistics. She was trying to protect me. Me becoming solo, being independent, it’s not an easy thing. There are a lot of things I should be careful with, and she gave me a rundown on all the things I have to look out for. That was the coolest part – she’s killed it in the game, and she was kind enough to walk me through.”
Reflecting on the wholesome and unexpected interaction between them, the K-pop star has nothing but praise for Taylor.
“She is literally the coolest, and she’s such a girl’s girl,” she shared.
This isn’t the first time that the two have crossed paths. In 2022, they were photographed alongside Sabrina Carpenter at the 2022 Republic Records VMA afterparty.
Following the overwhelming success of “APT,” Rosé is set to make her highly-anticipated solo comeback with “rosie.” Her first full-length album, which features 12 tracks, will be out on December 6.
