BLACKPINK Lisa’s solo documentary is currently in the works!

According to an article published by Billboard, the documentary film was announced during a Los Angeles event by Sony Music Vision on May 29. The upcoming cinematic documentary will take fans and viewers on Lisa’s transformative journey as a solo musician and actress.
“This has been such an incredible year and I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to capture these special moments on film and share the experience with my fans,” the 28-year-old superstar shared in a statement.
The project is created in partnership with LLOUD CO, the BLACKPINK star’s agency, RCA Records, and Tremolo Productions. It is also being directed by Sue Kim, the woman behind the A24 documentary film The Last of the Sea Women.
For those curious about what the film revolves around, it will focus on the Thai rapper’s moments offstage. However, more details are yet to be announced in the future.
2025 has been a busy yet fulfilling year for the BLACKPINK member. In February, she released her debut solo studio album Alter Ego, which contains the viral tracks “Rockstar,” “New Woman,” “Born Again,” and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” among others.
She also marked her acting debut in The White Lotus season 3, where she played the role of Mook, an employee at the White Lotus resort in Thailand.

In April 2025, she made her first solo performance at Coachella, where she performed her chart-topping singles.
Apart from the documentary, Filipino fans have the chance to see her up close as BLACKPINK is set to return to the Philippines for their “DEADLINE” tour, slated for November 22 and 23 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
