BLACKPINK Is the First K-Pop Act to Be a Coachella Headliner

BLACKPINK has made history as the first K-pop act to headline Coachella.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the most famous events of its kind in the world, featuring musical artists from across a wide variety of genres. It is usually held over several weekends in April.

BLACKPINK will headline the April 15 and 22 shows. The group was last seen at Coachella in 2019 as a performer.

Other headliners this year are Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean.

Some noted performers for this year’s Coachella are Gorillaz, Blondie, FKJ, Rosalía, Charli XCX, Björk, Jackson Wang, and Calvin Harris.

Some headliners in the past include Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Eminem, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Guns N’ Roses,  Prince, and Coldplay.
