For the recent Chinese New Year celebrations on January 29, 2025, a special tour was held to explore Binondo Chinatown beyond the usual food tours. The tour, powered by the Ford Territory, aimed to give participants a new way to experience the Year of the Wood Snake by meeting the people of Chinatown and exploring what they have to offer.

The tour was anchored on the idea of getting to know the neighborhood through the different community members and interacting with their crafts and passions. Participants were able to meet a variety of interesting people, including:
- Ivan Man Dy, a former Binondo Boy and founder of Old Manila Walks, a pioneer tour outfit that conducts cultural and historical walks in Manila’s historic neighborhoods.
- Abigail Tin, who heads the marketing for the 6-decade old hopia making business Polland.
- Dewey Tan is a calligrapher who has exhibited his works in Manila and Dubai.
- Gabriel Villegas, a coffee roaster and owner of The Den Coffee and Contemporary Culture.
- Denise Dorotan Chua is a third-generation store manager of her family business New Victory Trading (1938), and one of the founders of Tinghun Guru Phils, a premiere Chinese wedding and engagement service in Manila.
In addition to meeting these interesting people, attendees were also able to visit Quik Snack, a Binondo favorite since 1967 that serves a variety of Hokkien and Filipino dishes.
