Bindi Iriwin, daughter of famous wildlife expert and conservationist Steve Irwin, pays tribute to her late father during her wedding. The 21-year-old got married to her teenage sweetheart, Chandler Powell last month.

On Instagram, Bindi wrote an emotional post about married life and how much she misses her father. She says, “My dad used to say that I couldn’t marry anyone unless he could swim across the croc pond first. And now, here you are, helping us during our regular crocodile demonstrations.
”

During the ceremony, Bindi paid tribute to her father by lighting a candle in memory of him. She wrote, “Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad’s memory.”

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell got married at the Australia Zoo. Due to coronavirus concerns, they only held a “safe and small private” ceremony.
