Binay Tells Voters: Vote For Who You Want, But Take The Money

Vice President Jejomar Binay left some words of wisdom during his recent visit to Maguindanao: Vote for who you want, but take the money the politicians give you.

After all, the money comes from the public funds anyway. We’re not making stuff up here, he actually said this!

According to local reports, Binay told this to a crowd at Maguindanao, where he graced the 68th anniversary of the town of Sultan Kudarat.

“Tanggapin ninyo ang perang galing sa kanila, pero bumoto nang ayon sa inyong kunsensya.”

He also reportedly told the guests at the event that it would be a shame if voters did not accept the money being given to them, since the money usually comes from public funds. He was quoted to have said:

“…Nakakahiya doon sa nagbibigay. Tutal ang binibigay naman sa inyo ay pera ng bayan.”

Binay, who announced his presidential bid in the 2016 elections, was also in Maguindanao to oversee the oath taking of several community leaders as members of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), according to local reports.

What do you think of VP Binay’s words??
