Bianca King is now a mom!
The former actress announced on Instagram over the weekend that she is expecting her first child with her husband Ralph Wintle.
According to Bianca’s post, she admitted that they have been trying to naturally conceive a baby for years but struggled because of their age. She was even ready to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) to help her with her pregnancy. But as it turned out, she and her husband received “a natural miracle.”

“I lived my life exactly the way I wanted. Took my time and did everything I needed to do. When it was time for us [to] chase the dream of becoming parents, we were ready as ever,” she began on her post. “It was a long journey to get here. It was not easy – being in our mid-late 30s. I mentally gave up and was about to do IVF. But surprise! A natural miracle happened.”
She then expressed her love and gratitude to her husband and looked forward to becoming “the best parents” to their child.
“I thank my beautiful husband for setting me on the path to becoming a mama. Ralph is already the best dog dad, being so hands on with Willow. We both feel confident that we will be the best parents. I hope our baby inherits his looks and athleticism but my personality and creativity, and our shared wit and wisdom,” she added.
In a separate post, Bianca opened up about the tough journey she went through trying to conceive.
“Pregnancy can be isolating but trying (hard) to conceive is even more isolating. It’s an emotional roller coaster every 2 weeks of testing for ovulation and testing for pregnancy. It’s not easy to be open. Sometimes all you want to do is talk about it or not talk about it at all,” she wrote.
“And sometimes you get the frustrating response “relax, just have sex every day.” There must be something better to say that isn’t dismissive or minimising.”
She listed down the steps she did in order to help her with her fertility with the hope of helping other women who may be going through the same difficulties. Her tips included lessening the intake of chemical preservatives, junk food, and simple sugars, using an ovulation tracking app, going on vacation during one’s fertile week, and getting enough exercise and vitamin D.
“This is my journey and in no way am I suggesting it’s right for you. Your journey is unique,” she clarified. “If you find out you have something going on in your reproductive system, don’t lose hope. Believe and have faith. You don’t have to feel alone. My uterus isn’t perfect either. Follow your heart, if you want IVF, do it. If you have time to wait, give nature a chance.”

The couple is now based in Australia. They tied the knot in their home in Sydney last July 2021. Ralph is the brother of Ben Wintle, Iza Calzado’s husband, who is also expecting their first baby together.
