If you’ve come across a post claiming that you can travel to Australia visa-free within 90 days, that is all false, according to the Australian Embassy.
The Australian embassy in Manila has denied circulating hoax reports that Filipinos may travel to Australia without a visa.
The embassy website reminded that Filipino visitors should first apply for an Australian visa to enter the country.
“The embassy is aware of a hoax or scam suggesting that visa-free options for Filipino nationals will be available from January 2017. This is a scam and potential travelers to Australia must have a valid Australian visa,” the embassy said.
