For Their Fifth Collab, Ben&Ben Is Working With Asia’s Soul Supreme

Local folk band Ben&Ben just keeps revealing one collab after another and we’re all here for it!

The band just shared with fans the next Pinay artist they’ll be working with for another song in their upcoming sophomore album which will be their fifth collab out of the planned six. On their Facebook post, they unveiled a screenshot of them in a video call with Asia’s Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan, whom they called a “one-of-a-kind soul.”

“Legendary voice, one of a kind soul,” the nine-piece group wrote in the caption. “Malalim na ligaya ang hinatid sa’min ng dream collab na ito. (Our happiness runs deep with this dream collab.)”

KZ herself confirmed the news with an announcement post of her own on her social media page.

“I’m so happy we finally get to share this with you!” she said. “I am collab 5/6 for [Ben&Ben’s] latest album, PEBBLE HOUSE Volume 1: Kuwaderno.”

With the album release coming real soon — August 29, to be exact — fans can expect the band to reveal their last collaboration in the coming days.

Prior to KZ, Ben&Ben shared that they have also worked with Juan Karlos Labajo, IV of Spades’ Zild Benitez, Parokya Ni Edgar’s Chito Miranda for songs that will be released together with the album. Their collaborations with Munimuni and Moira Dela Torre, however, have already premiered as singles.

“Pebble House Volume 1: Kuwaderno” will have 12 all-Filipino tracks.
