Episode 8, which Forbes described as “powerful and disturbing,” reportedly hit 8.1 million viewers during its premiere last Monday (Philippine time) across the network’s telecasts. This sets a record high as it went up by 74% from the season premiere (588K viewers), making it the most-watched episode of the series so far.
Next in rank is “Long, Long Time” (Episode 3), which features a one-of-a-kind love story between Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank (Murray Bartlett), with 6.4 million viewers.

HBO’s “The Last of Us” follows the story of Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal), a survivor of a global pandemic that destroyed civilization; and Ellie Williams (Bella Ramsey), who might be humanity’s last hope. The series is based on a PlayStation game created by Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment that was first released in 2013.
