Becarios de Santo Tomas, the sole scholar’s association of the University of Santo Tomas, together with its partners, the UST Central Student Council, Student Organizations Coordinating Council, Musikang Sikat ng mga Tomasino, Community Achievers Association – CTHM Unit, UST Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, UST Mechanical Engineering Club, and the UST Electrical Engineering Circuit, will be holding the 7th Year of KISLAP: BUTIL Night Race 2018 with the theme “Embracing Differences Across Borders,” which will be held on April 15, 2018 at the University of Santo Tomas, España Boulevard, Manila from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
KISLAP: BUTIL Night Race is a fundraising activity organized by the Bonded University Towards Imbued Learning (BUTIL) scholarship program. The event is spearheaded by Becarios de Santo Tomas. Through this activity, Thomasian and Non-Thomasian Communities will be contributing to the success of sending the BUTIL scholars to school. This project aims to raise funds for the sustainability of the said program through conducting other activities that will hone the skills and personality of the BUTIL scholars.
The whole day will be filled with music from invited bands, fun-filled activities, freebies from its generous sponsors, and of course, running for a cause, in order to send the scholars to school and to provide an opportunity for them to achieve their goals in life.
