True to its vision, the Heroes Volleyball Program (HVP) spearheaded by its Managing Director, Ken Silverio Ucang, has been transforming lives, fostering camaraderie and furthering the sport since 2014. Driven by its goal to make a home for amateur athletes and athletes by heart, HVP continually grows to become one of the country’s leading sporting institutions. The programs build not just the players’ skills in the sport but also aim to shape their character, cultivating their personal growth, and nurturing value for teamwork that can eventually make them be heroes of their own.
Among its services, conducting volleyball camps all-year round is its core. The HVP Excel Camp, which has been the flagship program of the institution, offers individual various levels of training; mainly the Blue, Green, and Red division, as well as skills, focus and game strategies.
With its main branch located in the heart of Manila, it now boasts a total 763 heroes to date.For select campers desiring to further knowledge in technique, positioning and consistency in the sport, HVP also offers the Challenge Camp. Lastly, a Champion’s Camp becomes the final stage for individuals wishing to advance a career in the sport.
To date, HVP aspires to take things a notch higher by launching its first-ever “Beach Volleyball Festival.” To be held at the Crystal Beach Resort in San Narciso, Zambales on April 8-9, 2017, the institution wishes to bring the fun on the sands this summer. With a total of three (3) major categories, everyone, regardless of skill level, is invited to showcase their skills, join in the activities, and party all night. Athletes and sports enthusiasts will definitely be having fun as HVP guarantees, not just a great beach volleyball experience, but also a fun-filled weekend spent.
