“I started in 2019, I used to go straight to class from taping, then [the] pandemic happened, then went back to school, then graduated with my batchmates but I still continued to do make-up classes and OJT,” she wrote, revealing that it took her almost five years to finish a one-year course.
“It definitely was not an easy journey,” she recalled. “Juggling work-business-school, to learning all the lessons, to all the burns, cuts, sakit ng likod, init sa kusina (back pains, heat in the kitchen) and all.”
Despite the challenges it took, she learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way.
“I realized na hindi ka tatagal unless gusto mo talaga ginagawa mo. Oo, mahirap (that you wonโt last unless you truly love what youโre doing. Yes, itโs hard), but it is also a fun and memorable ride. Not only I learned a lot but also gained new friends and had a really good time,” she shared.
The 27-year-old actress also took the time to thank everyone who made her culinary school journey a great and memorable experience that she would cherish.
She said with a heart filled with gratitude: “To my family and loved one[s], for always supporting me, praying for me, for the never-ending love that you’ve given me. Thank you for trying all the food I cook hehehe.”
The Tween Hearts actress is excited to enter a new chapter of her life by discovering new flavor profiles and creating more meals with love.
“Here’s to discovering more flavors of life. To trying recipes and creating dishes. To that pinch or a dash of spice that will make life more colorful, delicious, and worthwhile,” she concluded her post.
Following the post, fellow celebrities, fans, and followers of the actress shared congratulatory messages and words of love and support. This includes Yasmien Kurdi, Kimpoy Feliciano, Joyce Ching, and Gil Cuerva.
The StarStruck Kids finalist loves sharing her freshly baked creations and homecooked meals on her Instagram page. In 2018, she launched her coffee shop business Mix & Brew Coffee.
