This 2019, break barriers and face the different issues about the country’s drug experts with the seventh installment of the Philippine Pharmacy Summit with the theme “Unbound x Unfazed: Unclasping the Stereotypical Chains and Head-On Tackling the Different Societal Issues Faced by a Filipino Pharmacist.”
The 7th Philippine Pharmacy Summit aims to be a venue for healthcare professionals and students to become advocates of professional and personal excellence by being informed of the current issues that can give us a broader perspective of our pharmacy community. Key personalities will be discussing the different societal issues faced by Filipino Pharmacist-advocacy groups present in the professional pharmacy world, pharmacovigilance on counterfeit drugs and talks on the role of pharmacists regarding drugs of abuse.
The Philippine Pharmacy Summit is an annual event pioneered by the University of the Philippines Manila that started in 2013. This event equips pharmacists and pharmacy students with skills and competencies to foster better service to the Filipino people and acts as a platform for these future health leaders to realize their full potential in improving the Philippine healthcare system as a whole.
The 7th Philippine Pharmacy Summit will be conducted on February 17, 2019 at the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute in Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
