Barbie Imperial got real as she defended herself against a blind item claiming that a celebrity built her dream home thanks to a “very powerful admirer.”

On Facebook, a social media page posted a blind item that appeared to question whether a celebrity’s new house was the result of her hard work or her connection to a “rumored influential lover.”
“This Lovely Celebrity (LC) is the picture of success. Projects keep pouring in: endorsements, films, events, and a solid presence on social media. She works nonstop, earns well, and proudly tells her rags-to-rewards story. To many, the narrative checks out,” it wrote. “But not everyone is convinced. Eagle-eyed informants who know real estate say [Lovely Celebrity’s] new home is located in an ultra-exclusive village in the south, where house and lot prices can soar above a hundred million. A figure insiders quietly claim is far beyond what LC could realistically afford, even with years of steady work.”
It added: “Whispers grow louder that the property may not be a product of puyat and pagsisikap alone, but a grand token of affection from her rumored married, influential lover.”
Barbie did not hold back, further emphasizing that she is proud to say her new home was built through her hard work, with no man involved in helping her achieve this major milestone.
“Lol this is so obvious its about me. Hindi nalang kayo maging masaya (Why can’t you just be happy for others). I can proudly say NO MAN helped me achieve this. Kung sino pa yung sarili mong kapwa pinoy talaga hihila sayo pababa (It’s always your own fellow Filipinos who try to pull you down). God bless you, whoever you are. Makagawa ka lang ng kwento (Making up stories just for the sake of it),” she stated.
The 27-year-old actress recently shared with her fans that she finally owns a house in Bicol.

“May bahay na ako sa Bicol (I finally own a house here in Bicol),” she captioned her post. “Oh my… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now I have my own home in my province.”
