Bam Aquino Pushes Tax Exemption Bill a.k.a Start-Up Business Bill to Encourage Entrepreneurship

Bam Aquino

Last Monday June 2, 2014, Charman of The Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship Senator Bam Aquino filed a bill aimed to give exemption to new businesses to pay taxes for two years.

If the Senate Bill No. 2217 a.k.a  “Start-Up Business Bill” will be passed, it will provide entrepreneurs up to 2 years to start-up and grow their businesses first before they will be obliged to pay taxes.

“The intervention provides the opportunity for these start-ups to get organized, establish their business operations and market base,” - Bam Aquino from https://philnews.ph/

He also added that the idea is not to exempt businesses, but to give entrepreneurs space to grow.

Will you be more encouraged to finally become an entrepreneur if this bill will push through?

I’d love to read your comments below. =)
