Baguio Now Allows Fully Vaccinated Tourists to Enter the City

A trip to Baguio City may be a lot easier in the near future thanks to the recent travel protocols released by the city.

In a Facebook post on the Baguio Tourism page, the city announced that it will now allow entry of fully vaccinated tourists without the need for a swab test.

In the updated entry protocol, tourists will be required a QR-coded tourist pass, a negative COVID-19 test result OR a full-dose vaccination card/certificate, and must undergo mandatory triage upon arrival. The QR-coded tourist pass is available through Visita registration and must be acquired at least 24 hours before traveling.

Baguio Tourism reminds everyone that full vaccination means 14 days after the completion of all vaccine doses.

The city also reminds tourists that proper health and travel protocols should still be followed, meaning visitors under 15 years old may not be allowed into certain establishments. Minimum safety protocols are also being enforced, such as the required wearing of face masks and face shields, and physical distancing in public areas.
