People living or traveling in Baguio City woke up to a cold morning as the temperature in the city dropped to 10.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
This is the second time the temperature in the summer capital dipped below 11°C this year.
The coldest morning recorded here this year was 10.2 °C on February 1, Saturday.
Apparently, the cold weather in the city is caused by the northeast monsoon, which brings cold air from the northern hemisphere.
The coldest morning here was on January 18, 1961, when the temperature dropped to 6.3°C.
