The MassKara festival performers of Bacolod have been tapped to represent the Philippines in the 2016 ASEAN Culture and Tourism Fair in South Korea, according to local reports!
According to the Bacolod city government, the traditionally masked dancers are scheduled to perform in Gwangju and Andong for the cultural and tourism convention by the ASEAN-Korea centre, which will end on October 5.
The MassKara dancers will be arriving back in the Philippines just in time for the annual week-long MassKara festival, which will hold a street dancing competition from October 22-23.
Great to see more of local culture being represented worldwide!
