The organization took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the actor on the recent episode titled “Napahamak” where Arjo’s character, Elijah “Elai” Sarmiento breaks down after his father Mayor Dante Velario (played by Emilio Garcia) dies in front of him.
“Arjo Atayde’s portrayal of #autism is sensitive and nuanced. The character was well developed and avoided stereotypical caricatures. Bravo!” they said.
