Look what Ariana Grande did to Pete Davidson-inspired tattoo

Getting tattoos with your significant other is rarely a good idea, especially when the relationship is not built to last.

Take, for example, Ariana Grande who has been covering up the tattoos she has gotten with ex Pete Davidson ever since their whirlwind engagement broke off in 2018. Her latest project? Altering her “always” ribcage ink written in Pete’s handwriting.

post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork 🙂 not a cover up just evolvin ? also, our show opens tomorrow. i love u and i’m so grateful. see u soon.

In an Instagram post, she shows off a new tattoo of leaves on her midriff which overlaps the word “always.” She insists, however, that it is “not a cover up”—with the way the word is still visible through the leaf outline—and says she is “just evolvin’.”

In the past, Ariana has changed her foot ink “8414” which was a tribute to Pete’s late father (it was his badge number) to the name of the dog she shared with late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, “MYRON.” Meanwhile, Pete has been making headlines for rapidly changing his Ariana-inspired tattoos all over his body.

Have you ever gotten a tattoo with an ex? What did you do to cover it up?
