The wait will soon be over, everyone!
% Arabica has announced that it is coming back to the Philippines this 2023, a year after it had closed its doors without warning. In an Instagram post on the coffee chain’s official page, they shared a glimpse of what the new stores (yes, plural!) will look like.

% Arabica Philippines will once again be located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig though it’s yet to be revealed when and where it will open. If we had to guess, though, we’re almost certain that one of the branches is going to be in the new Mitsukoshi Mall.
“Manila, we will restart our project this year with these stores. This is a sneak preview of our upcoming stores in BGC, opening in 2023. We will announce the opening dates later on. We cannot wait to serve our coffee from the world to you once again,” the Instagram announcement read.
We can’t wait to be reunited with their Spanish Latte again!
% Arabica Philippines alarmed Filipinos by the end of January 2022 when customers suddenly discovered that its three branches—two on BGC and one in Podium Mall, Mandaluyong—suddenly closed down. Its Instagram page also mysteriously disappeared, prompting everyone to believe that they had been “ghosted” by the Japanese coffee chain. A few days later, a new Instagram account was made by the main headquarters to explain that % Arabica’s franchise period with its Philippine partner at the time had already expired and that new partners have been chosen to not only bring back the brand to Manila but also expand to other regions across the country.
