Miss Universe Philippines has announced on its official Facebook page that the search for its 2020 candidates is extended.
“To accommodate some planned changes in the pageant format and to better support our advocacy agenda, we have decided to extend the deadline for application for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 until January 31, 2020,” the organizers said in a post.
Interested individuals need only download the application form and properly fill it out before submitting a scanned copy to contact@missuniverseph.com. Applicants must bring the completed form, a copy of their passport (if already available), R4 Portrait Photo, R4 Swimsuit Photo, and birth certificate (PSA) to Empire Studios located on the 2nd floor of Uptown Mall in Taguig.
Visits can be made on January 20 to 25 (Monday to Saturday), and from January 27 to 31, 2020 (Monday to Friday) from 2 PM to 6 PM.
Final screening will be on February 1.

This is the first time the Miss Universe Philippines group will be handling the search for the country’s Miss Universe candidate. It announced last December that Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., which has held the Miss Universe franchise since 1964, would no longer be overseeing the search.
Former Miss Universe Philippines Shamcey Supsup is serving as the group’s national director. Long-time pageant mentor Jonas Gaffud will be its creative director.
