Apple’s annual World Wide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) started last June 3 with a keynote presentation at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
Like the previous WWDC events, the presentation revealed lots of new and exciting innovations coming to the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other Apple products. One of the main points of the event was the revelation of the shiny features coming to the new iOS.
Here are some of the best features that you can expect when iOS 13 rolls out soon.
Better Health Monitoring
The Health app is arriving with improvements such as the feature that allows female users to track, visualize, and predict their menstrual cycle. There is also a new feature coming to the Health app that lets users monitor hearing health. This feature lets the user know if the area is dangerously loud and can be dangerous to one’s hearing health.
Better Maps Feature

Even if Google is still the mainstream navigation app of choice, Apple aims to be the go-to app by providing more detailed views of the surroundings. Aside from releasing more detailed 3D maps, it will also roll out dynamic street-level imagery in cities. This will let the user zoom into and around the city seamlessly. According to Apple, it will be a better version of Google Street View.
Less Confusing Messaging Feature
The user no longer has to guess the identity of an unknown number because users can now automatically share their name and photo to eliminate confusion.
Improved Performance
The upcoming iOS aims to provide improved performance by reducing lag throughout the day. Apple will do this through the Face ID, which will unlock 30% faster on iOS 13. Additionally, apps will launch up to twice as fast.
Dark Mode

Probably the most anticipated feature on the iOS 13 is the Dark Mode. This feature will soften and darken the on-screen tones system-wide across all native apps. Hence, it will make it easier to read and see everything from notifications and news articles to notes and messages in low light. It will also make browsing on the device quite nifty. There will also be a feature that will let you schedule when your device turns the Dark Mode on.
