For the upcoming eighth installment of the event, our theme will be “Anything Blows,” a play on words of the Cole Porter-penned 1934 musical classic (and the iconic song for which it is named), and also an homage to the theme of one of our previous Broadway Open Mic events, “Anything Goes.” In “Anything Blows,” guests will be encouraged to perform songs or monologues from roles in which they would typically be classified as “miscast” – whether because of gender, race, age, appearance, or even vocal sound and style.
So, if you’re a thirty-two-year-old man, we would love to see you as Matilda! Astound the audience or be crowned the king of fools on this topsyturvy day! Cuz’ on stage, Anything Blows!

Staple and Perk Bakery started out as a commissary supplying breads and pastries to restaurants and hotels in Metro Manila. With the opening of its first 24-hour shop in EcoplazaBuliding in Makati, Staple and Perk Bakery has been serving meals, coffee, breads and pastries to the people of Pasong Tamo Ext. Apart from being a cafe bakery, Staple and Perk Bakery acts as a venue for various art performances and events.
