The former actor behind Falcon, Anthony Mackie, has been confirmed to be part of the upcoming “Captain America 4” movie. This was revealed in an exclusive story first published on Deadline.
Anthony Mackie was recently seen taking on the shield of Marvel’s Captain America in the Disney+ limited series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The show showed the transition of Sam Wilson (aka. The Falcon) from being a minor character to becoming the new Captain America himself, also marking the beginning of MCU’s Phase 4.
Anthony Mackie’s role as Captain America in “Captain America 4” will also be his first lead film in the MCU.

While Marvel has yet to officially announce this story, many fans are already delighted with the news.
Deadline also reiterates that the script of “Captain America 4” is being written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman, along with series staff writer Dalan Musson. Fans of the limited series should definitely be looking forward to the upcoming film.
