The DLSU-D Symphonic Band is an institutional organization under the Performing Arts Group supervised by the Cultural Arts Office. Since 1994, the organization strives to promote cultural awareness among the community by holding musical productions annually and by performing at different events held inside and outside the University. This concert aims to inform the youth how the music evolved through the decades from the 80’s to present. It would also show how music affects our daily lives and the choices that we make.
In pursuit of this goal, the DLSU-D Symphonic Band will be holding its annual major production entitled ANIMUSIKA 9 “Mixtape Rewind” on April 24, 2017, at the Ugnayang La Salle, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event is a concert for a cause promoting cultural and environmental awareness in support of the One Million Trees and Beyond Project of De La Salle Philippines and One La Salle Scholarship Endowment Fund & Performing Arts Group scholars.
