“Animaniacs” is Getting a Two-Season Reboot!

Animaniacs Reboot

One of our favorite shows during the ’90s was Animaniacs, a cartoon variety show that featured a large cast of characters, led by the three Warners, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. Things weren’t the same when the show ended in 1998, but fans will be pleased to hear that it’s getting a reboot with two seasons!

Streaming platform Hulu partnered with Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation to create a reboot of the show, which is set to premiere in 2020. Its famous characters, like Pinky and the Brain, are set to appear in the announced two seasons.

As part of the deal, Hulu will also stream all the episodes of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain, which will be available this year.

According to Steven Spielberg, who produced the original series, “I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu.Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal.”
