Angillyn Gorens didn’t hold back in sharing her thoughts about how Filipino netizens are reacting to her breakup with actor Buboy Villar, with whom she shares two children.
On Facebook, Angillyn wrote a post expressing her frustration over claims that she and Buboy are “bad parents” by splitting up.
“Why do I feel like I owe the Philippines an apology for my break up?” she said in her post. She then followed it up with a comment, saying: “People be saying me and Buboy are bad parents because we broke up? Really guys???? That makes zero sense!”
Buboy also left a comment on her post in defense of their decision. “Wag ka mag-alala.. at least alam natin ang totoo,” he said. “Hindi ako palaging mabait ha. Alam mo yun hahahaha pero sa mga anak natin surrender ako.”

Their breakup was revealed by the couple to PEP.ph on Monday, October 5. They shared that they will be co-parenting their children, who are currently staying with Angillyn’s parents. Angillyn, meanwhile, is already in the US.
