Angie Mead King captured the exact moment her Acura NSX burst into flames.
She shared the real-time video of the incident on Instagram, featuring herself filming a vlog about her sports car while driving along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). The car enthusiast and YouTuber even said it was “so much fun to drive.”

Mid-ride, she was shocked when she saw the rear part of the car suddenly catch fire. She quickly pulled over, exited the vehicle, and retrieved all her belongings.
In the caption, Angie clarified that she wasn’t driving really fast and the car was in break-in mode.
“Here is the video from inside the car. People were saying I was driving really fast when I wasn’t,” she wrote. “The car was in break-in mode and I was vlogging how happy I was until I caught (fire).”

In a separate post, she shared more clips of her car engulfed in flames, reassuring she was safe and her lungs feel better now.
“Thank you for checking in on me, I’m alive and lungs feel fine now. It was a short-lived experience and I think the NSX is a pure drivers car. One day I’ll get another one for sure but for now I’ll live another day,” she expressed.
Angie also thanked the good samaritan who picked her up on SLEX and the police who assisted her.
“This was traumatic, to say the least, and a fire extinguisher wouldn’t have put out the flames at all,” she concluded her post.

In the comments section, her wife, Joey Mead King, pointed out how she handled the situation calmly.
“When the vlog captures the exact moment the NSX lights up..is a pure real-life situation. Still handled calmly Angie style,” she wrote.
The Acura NSX is a luxury two-seater, rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car manufactured by Honda.
