This Monday, after months of petitioning Congress, the Senate finally tackled the long-pending bills on ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal. After a day’s deliberation on the merits and complaints surrounding the broadcast network, Angel Locsin took to social media to show support for her bosses.
She posted 2 photos of herself with ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak and ABS-CBN COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes.

“Appreciation post for ABS-CBN bosses!” Locsin wrote. “Happy that Filipinos get to see how humble our ABS-CBN bosses are. Ganyan po talaga sila kahit off cam!”
Katigbak became a trending topic on social media after impressing many with his confidence during the Senate hearing. His clarity in responding to questions was hugely appreciated by netizens.
Locsin also shared a screenshot of a tweet on her post, detailing what the media giant was able to prove during the Senate hearing. It reads:

1) Doesn’t have any tax delinquencies.
2) Compiled with SEC rules.
3) Paid its taxes (in the billions).
4) Is cleared with DOLE.
5) Is complying with NTC rules and regulations. These FACTS matter.
