Angel Locsin just gave a random fan an early Christmas gift of PHP 20,000 in cash!
The actress revealed in an Instagram post that she chose a random netizen who had commented on her recent vlog on YouTube showing off her Christmas decorations at home to receive the cash prize. According to her, she felt guilty for making her vlog knowing that there may be others who won’t get to celebrate Christmas this year.
“So while we were making DIY Christmas decors on our last episode of The Angel and Neil Channel, event stylist, Randy Lazaro shared that celebrating Christmas was not a tradition in their household growing up dahil sa hirap ng buhay nila (because of their hardship) before,” she shared in her post.
She admitted that she “felt a bit insensitive” even though she knows that there’s nothing wrong with celebrating or sharing one’s Christmas preparations.
“I’m a sucker for celebrations and I believe everyone should be rejoicing the birth of Jesus Christ,” she continued. “That is why I wanted to somehow help make someone else’s Christmas a bit merrier. Na kahit isang pamilya lang, maramdaman nila ang diwa ng pasko at maipaalala sa kanila na buhay ang (That even just one family will feel the Christmas spirit and remember that there is a) Christmas miracle.”
She clarified that the person she chose to receive the gift didn’t have to be a subscriber as she just picked the first person she found commenting and sharing their story in her vlog.
“Maligayang Pasko sa’yo (Merry Christmas to you), Jenalene Gaviola Dalloso of Cebu! Hiling namin ang mapasaya ka at makapagcelebrate kasama ng iyong mga mahal sa buhay! (We hope this makes you happy and that you will get to celebrate with your loved ones!)” she ended.
