It’s here! It’s back! Are you ready clash to be the next PinakaMATH’inik champion?
It’s time to battle it out again to stand atop your peers. The Adamson University Mathematics Society is raising the curtains for this year’s College Math Quiz Bee entitled “Ang PinakaMATH’inik V3.0: The Search for the New Adamsonian Math Wizards.” The goal of this event is to show the importance of Math for every student, and to test the knowledge and raise the competency of all the contestants. And as the title of the event says, to search for students who excel in mathematics, and to give them greater opportunity by letting them compete with other schools.
Every Adamson student taking up any mathematics subject is invited to participate in this momentous event. This year’s event is composed of five categories: A&T, Statistics, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Ultimate (Inter Engineering). Any students that will register will be properly sorted out in to their respective categories.
The contest will be a two part event consisting of the Elimination Round on September 21, 2016 at the OZ AVR and the Final Round on September 24, 2016 at the BA Multimedia Room. Only the top ten students will proceed to the Finals to duke it out with the other contenders.
Registration for the event will be open until the day of the Elimination Round. There will be a fee of PHP 25 for members of AUMS and PHP 30 for the non-members.
