Following the shocking sudden breakup of celebrity couple Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres after over a year of being together, the 30-year-old actress finally broke her silence and released her official statement regarding the issue.
“Yes, Derek and I are no longer together,” Andrea confirmed to GMA Network. “I’d rather keep the details private as I want to give the breakup the same amount of respect that I had for the relationship. I think you all know how much it meant to me. I hope you understand. I will always wish him and his family well.”
It was just last week when rumors of their split spread online after netizens noticed that the two had deleted all their photos together from Instagram. Andrea was also found to have unfollowed Derek’s account. Derek later confirmed their breakup in the comments section as he defended himself, Andrea, and his former long-term partner Joanne Villablanca against criticisms and allegations.
He also insisted that a third-party was not the cause of their falling out.

The two met during the set of The Better Woman. They officially went public with their relationship on September 26.
