Andrea Brillantes finally revealed the real score between her and former basketball player Sam Fernandez.

In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN, Andrea shared that she is currently dating Sam. However, she emphasized that they are not officially in a relationship.
“Sinabi ko naman na open ako sa pag-de-date kasi two years na rin naman akong walang boyfriend. Naloloka ako kasi ang daming nagsasabi na bakit may boyfriend na raw ako agad (I said that I’m open to dating since I’ve been single for two years now. I’m surprised because so many people are saying that I already have a boyfriend),” she told the media. “I’m just dating.”
The Filipino-Jordanian non-celebrity previously played basketball for San Beda University during his high school years.
“I’ve known him for a while. We’ve been friends for many many years,” she shared.
Dating rumors between the two sparked after they were spotted together multiple times. One notable occasion was during Valentine’s week when the non-celebrity was seen holding a bouquet of pink roses for the actress.
In June 2024, the Senior High actress marked her “singlesary,” celebrating a year of being single.

“Congratulations! You’ve made it through an entire year, which is 365 days, without a boyfriend. [Good] job!” it wrote.
Andrea Brillantes was previously in a high-profile relationship with popular basketball player Ricci Rivero. They broke up in May 2023 after dating for a year.
