“Time,” as we all perceive it, is the point measured in hours, minutes, or seconds.
We see it is a line moving only forward. Time is the existence of the past, present, and future. It is an indefinite phenomenon in the universe.
But what is time other than what we define it?
Anatomy of Time is the exploration of the concept of time with different interpretations from the artists of Tyro Visuals. It provides the thought that time could be other things than what we read in the dictionary. Time could be the enemy all of us cannot escape, or it could be the friend that we all have to adapt with. It presents the ideas of ‘what ifs’, metaphors, and personal understanding.
Cliché, but what is time for you?
Through this exhibit, we are looking at various forms of time as though dissecting its anatomy. The audience would go beyond the ‘skin,’ the outer part of a body we only see. Represented through multimedia arts, we discover and imagine its inner structure, exploring the “Anatomy of Time.”
Tyro Visuals is composed 11 Multimedia Arts students from Asia Pacific College, namely: Mica Abesamis, Hee Sun Amor, John Caiman, Jonas Camposagrado, Enne Cruzin, Arom Liban, Janine Lucero, Jane Piedad, Alex Tagle, Jillyn Tagle, and Kamella Villa.
