Volleyball phenom Alyssa Valdez and basketball star Kiefer Ravena have ended their six-year relationship, as confirmed in a statement published by Alyssa’s management team VMG Asia Management.
The statement also denied any involvement of a third party in their breakup and stressed that neither Alyssa nor her management team will be addressing the issue any further to fulfill the athlete’s wish to “keep things private.”

“A lot of speculation has been made. We appreciate the concern, but this decision does not involve any other party. Let us avoid making up stories & spreading false rumors. We hope that everyone can respect Alyssa’s decision to keep things private. Thank you to all the fans who have loved and supported Alyssa through the years. We know you will continue to be there for her. This will be the only time we will address this matter. We will not be entertaining any interviews or questions. Thank you for your understanding,” read the statement.
Alyssa then shared the post on her social media accounts and told fans: “[P]lease avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors. Thank you for all the love.”

Fans have long been speculating that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks, but what further fueled the rumors was the lack of posts together from the recent South East Asian Games in Vietnam.
As of writing, Kiefer has yet to speak up about the breakup.
