Algolympics is a programming competition open to all interested undergraduate students from different schools, colleges and universities across the Philippines. The eliminations round was held from February 17-27, 2023, while the finals round will be held on March 25, 2023. The competition is patterned after the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC), a prestigious international event organized by the Association for Computing Machinery. As of late, it has been held online due to the restrictions of the pandemic.
In its tenth iteration, Algolympics 2023 has over 150 participants forming over 63 teams joining in the eliminations, with the top 20 teams advancing to the finals round. On the day of the finals round, all participants are invited to speaking engagements from reputable tech companies such as Avaloq, Samsung, Morgan Stanley Capital International, and Supergene, where topics in emerging fields of computing are to be discussed.
