The comeback is real for actor-singer Alex Diaz! In an Instagram post, he revealed that he is starring in a new international project together with Hollywood actor and Avatar star, Sam Worthington!

The film, titled CounterPlay, is set to be an action thriller where Sam will play a retired hostage negotiator who helps Alex’s character, who has been wrongly accused as a drug trafficker, escape and return home to his family in Australia.
Alex shared screenshots of different articles from international entertainment news sites announcing the new film. “Excited as our film at @mamholdingsinc was finally announced at the Berlin Film Festival the other day,” he wrote on his post.
CounterPlay will also reportedly be shot in the Philippines later this year with Maria (2019) director, Pedring Lopez, at the helm.
