In case you haven’t heard, Bea Alonzo is starring in a new movie with Kapuso actor Alden Richards and the two are finally about to start filming this month!
This news was first shared by GMA Network’s official social media account wherein they posted a photo of the two celebrities together as they wrote, “Now, another good news has come, especially for the fans of Asia’s Multimedia Star [Alden Richards] and New Generation Movie Queen [Bea Alonzo], as Viva Entertainment executive Vincent Del Rosario confirmed that their movie will begin shooting this November.”
The movie is reportedly a Philippine adaptation of the 2004 Korean drama “A Moment to Remember” and will be titled “Special Memory.” Bea and Alden had signed their contracts to do the film back in March which was met with excitement from fans who had been clamoring for the two to become an onscreen tandem following their first television commercial together.
“Finally doing a movie with this one! I am so excited!” she gushed in the caption at the time that she announced the contract signing. “Thank you, Viva Films, for offering me this movie and for paving the way so this could all be possible.”
“A Moment To Remember” follows the story of a couple who fall in love and build a happy life together until their lives change drastically when the wife is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
It will be directed by Nuel Naval, who is known for directing the award-winning Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 movie “Miracle In Cell No.7” which was also a local adaptation of the widely loved Korean drama film of the same name. It will also be co-produced by GMA Films, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment.
