One of the things that COVID-19 affected was Alanis Morissette’s scheduled concert on April 6 and 7. However, we have good news and you oughta know: it’s still pushing through and it will be held on December 7 and 8, 2021 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

This will be Morissette’s third time in the Philippines, following her last concert in 1996.

This year’s concert is meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jagged Little Pill.

The album was released in 1995 and is considered one of the best-selling albums of all time. The album had the hits “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” and “Ironic.” At the 1996 Grammy Awards, Morissette won five out of the nine nominations she received, including Album of the Year. The singer was the youngest musician to be given that award for 10 years.

Last year, the world saw the premiere of the musical Jagged Little Pill, with music inspired by the album. The story focuses on a “modern and multi-generational family and their complex dynamics, touching on issues of gender identity and race.”

Just last month, Morissette released a new album called Such Pretty Forks in the Road.

Ticketholders to April’s concert can use their tickets for the upcoming one.
