Ako, Kami, Tayo (A. K. T.): A Multimedia ARTS Exhibition by SINO – SINO

posterevent

This is a Multimedia ARTS Exhibition about the value of importance, specifically how self–worth can lead us into being selfless. So for the venue of the exhibition, they visually made use of a house to embody a home where they can incorporate different types of self–worth issues into our personal spaces. It is to pinpoint why an individual ignores the value of all things that matter together. Similar to how we, as an individual, welcome our house guests into our home, their artworks will reflect our personality and basically who we are as a person based on what we give importance to.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: SINO–SINO is a group of 11 senior students from the School of Multimedia Arts at Asia Pacific College in fulfillment of the course Project Management of Art Exhibition & Events. The team’s multi media background is composed of animation, film, graphic design, and studio art majors.

The word “who” in Filipino is called “sino” or “sinu-sino.” Based on the most frequently asked question whenever the team is asked who they are grouped with in the course (“Sinu-sino ba kayo?”), they decided to make the term their team name. It is a name that fits their team composition because they classify themselves as blooming artists who are still in the process of growing and taking the longest journey to be recognized.
