If given the chance, Aga Muhlach told reporters that he would want to try and be part of long-running television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
“Honestly, I really want to try,” Aga told ABS-CBN News regarding the possibility of him doing television soaps. “Naghihintay lang ako na may mag-offer. (I’m just waiting for someone to offer me a role.)”
He explained that though he still preferred doing movies, he didn’t want to completely close his doors on the opportunity.
“‘Di naman nagbabago [ang isipan ko tungkol doon], kumbaga I would love to try it […] pangit naman ‘yung nagsasara ka ng pinto sa lahat ng bagay. (My mind still hasn’t changed, but I would love to try it. I don’t think it looks good if you’re closing your doors to certain things.)”
“Hindi naman ako magiging plastic […] medyo mapili naman [ako] talaga, pinipili ko talaga ang gagawin ko syempre (I’m not going to be plastic about it. I really am selective, I choose what I want to do),” he added. “At this point in time, kahit naman noon pa, even when they were offering me mga soap on TV, pinipili ko talaga (At this point in time, even before when they were offering me television soaps, I’m very selective). But I would love to try one really.”
He then mentioned that he was actually open to being a guest on Ang Probinsyano.

“Binibinibiro ko nga sila, sinabi ko ‘yung ‘Ang Probinsyano’ parang gusto ko mag-guest doon. Para masama naman ako doon sa [list ng guest ng] ‘Ang ‘Probinsyano’ (I was actually kidding them that I wanted to guest in Ang Probinsyano so that I can be a part of its list of guests),” he joked.
Alice Dixson, who was with Aga to promote their movie Nuuk, couldn’t help but tell him in jest: “Be careful what you wish for.”
