A Witness From Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli’s Wedding Reveals All the Details

So here’s what we know so far about the secret wedding between Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli. Rumors swirled that they would get married on February 20, 2020. A video surfaced showing that she was at a taping, so people thought it wasn’t true. The following day, the internet was ablaze when it was announced that the two did get married. And that Matteo allegedly punched one of Sarah’s bodyguards because he told her mother, Mommy Divine, that they were getting married.

People have been coming forward to spill all the details, including Jerry Tamana, the bodyguard that was punched, and Vic del Rosario, Sarah and Matteo’s manager. Now, Letty Fuentes, the couple’s relationship counselor, spoke out to reveal all the details of the scuffle, in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe.

According to Letty, “Akala ko mag-ka-counseling, dinner lang kami. You see, I was not dressed up. It’s always surprises. And this time it’s also a surprise not even the Guidicelli family knew about it. They only knew the day before. Para hindi na siguro mag-leak.”

[“I thought we were just going to do some counseling over dinner. You see, I was not dressed up. It’s always surprises. And this time it’s also a surprise not even the Guidicelli family knew about it. They only knew the day before. Probably so it wouldn’t leak.”]

She described the ceremony, which was held at Victory Fort Bonifacio, as “very sacred, very solemn, very happy, very intimate.”

Things turned upside down when Mommy Divine showed up to the reception at a restaurant in BGC.

Letty said, “[Sarah] was pushed, kasi [pinipigilan] niya ‘yung mama niya, e. Naghahabulan. I was holding onto her. Pag-push sa kaniya, ang layo. Gulong. Natumba siya. For a while, matagal siya… Kasi nanginginig.

[“Sarah was pushed because she was holding her mom back. They were running after each other. I was holding onto her. When she was pushed, she fell and rolled away. For a long while, she was shaking.”]

She added, “I know gusto niyang sampalin si Matteo, e. She was ready for a fight. Sabi ng mama niya, ‘Traydor kayo!’ Sigaw-sigaw, ang lakas talaga. Meron pa yatang nagmura or something.”

[“I know she wanted to slap Matteo. She was ready for a fight. Her mom said, “you traitors!” She was shouting so loud. There was even cursing or something.”]

Letty also denied Jerry’s accusation that Matteo punched him. She said, “Walang brawling doon, wala ring baril. Kasi nabasa ko may baril pa raw. Kasi to the last moment, ‘yung malaking lalaki doon, sinasabihan ko siya na, ‘Huwag mo na ilapit kasi magkakagulo ‘yan.

[“There was no brawl or gun. I read that someone had a gun. Up to the last minute, I told the guy, “don’t come closer because it will be a mess.”]
